ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS

About Us
We are real people and we really teach these courses one course and one student at a time. Yes, it is the Internet but there is nothing automated about our teaching. There are two of us that teach these classes together. Our names are Christina Handley and Laura Cotterman. Christina lives on a working farm in Ontario with her husband Boyd, their three Belgian horses and their dog, Dingo. Laura lives in Virginia with her farrier husband Mark and various horses, dogs and cats.

Our work is widely published in equine and lifestyle magazines, catalogs, calendars and advertising campaigns. We both shot horse shows professionally for a number of years. After we met at a photography workshop in 2005 our mutual interest in the world of equine photography led us to work together on a variety of assignments. In the past three years we have gotten more involved in teaching, commercial work and art photography interests.

So, when you ask us a question, you get a real, personal answer from a working professional photographer.
